Friday evening watched "Breaking and Entering" with Jude Law and Juliette Binoche. This is an excellent film about a gang who enters Jude Law's company and steal laptops and other equipment. One young man (Juliette's son) is caught in the middle and faces prison for his deeds. A must see. Give it 4 out of 5.
Saturday evening watched "The Man Who Fell To Earth", a 1976 movie starring David Bowie and Candy Clark. It's a strange kind of science fiction movie about a supposed alien (David Bowie) who comes to earth to find water because his planet is suffering from a drought. Candy Clark plays his love interest. It's 2+ hours long and is somewhat slow to develop. Nice to see a scene toward the end when Rip Torn's character is in a record store and all music is $4.66/album. The good old days of affordable analog music.
The movie is a classic, and I give it 3 out of 5.
